OUTPATIENT DRUG-FREE TREATMENT

Outpatient Drug Free treatment services are designed to stabilize and rehabilitate persons with substance abuse diagnoses.

Outpatient drug-free (ODF) treatment includes the following services:

• Intake
• Treatment and discharge planning
• Crisis intervention
• Group counseling
• Individual counseling
  

Intake

Intake includes an assessment of mental, emotional, psychological, behavioral, and substance abuse disorders; the diagnosis of substance disorders utilizing the most recent DSM criteria is required. 

Counseling

INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING 
Individual counseling consists of face-to-face contacts between the client and the therapist. 

GROUP COUNSELING 
Within the group counseling setting one or more therapists treat two or more clients at the same time, focusing  on the needs of the individuals served. ODF group counseling sessions are conducted with no less than four and no more than 10 clients at the same time. 

All of our ODF services are Medi-Cal certified and are provided by staff lawfully authorized to provide these services within the scope of their practice or licensure.
