PRIMARY CARE
Central to the primary care model is the benefit any given patient can reap from the direct interaction with a well informed medical professional who knows the patient's medical history and his or her disposition(s). Through such a relationship patients can expect a far more robust delivery of medical services and receive a more comprehensive, in-depth, healthcare experience all together.
Our primary care physicians provide general health services including preventive medicine, family practice, pediatrics, gynecology, in addition to the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of medical conditions. Primary care also encompasses the vast array of ancillary services requisite to establish and maintain clinically significant continuity of care. Such providers become the point of contact for each patient. By helping navigate patients’ medical trajectory, the PCP continually formulates, gauges, and refines treatment approaches ensuring a highly personalized, patient-centered, experience. Primary care providers manage patient’s medical needs—including but certainly not limited to issuing referrals to specialists when as deemed necessary, ordering laboratory tests, EKG recordings, and a number of other medically relevant assessments and procedures. In the primary care setting, the patient-physician relationship is a more longitudinal, personal, and direct interaction between you and your healthcare professional. |
